I went to a wreckers and saw both kr and ks headlights. The Ks was in fact parabolics, but not the type i wanted with the clear glass without heaps of facited lines.... is this clear glass only on the diamante jap version and therefore these need to be imported??,,,, no wonder im finding it so hard to find a set. DER DER....
anyway once again anyone who wants to sell a pair to me let me know... For some reason my WTB was deleted?:doubt:

because the guy at the wreckers had a ks there, but the parras has weird plastic lines in them instead of clear glass like on yours... they were def parras as they had thwe round headlights inside... wtf...? maybe the verada xi (yours)
had the better version of parras.

That's my guess. Look similar but are slightly smaller (to fit the chrome surround), and have the faceted lense (some sort of fresnel I'm assuming?)
From the US, Euro and I believe NZ Diamantes. Jap Diamantes are our KS ones as far as I am aware (mine are Jap Diamante and they look like Peter_Pans)

The ks at the wreckers for some reason must have had diamante headlights. go figure.

I think I've got a spare set of para's like Peter_Pan's. Will hvae to check but I'm pretty sure they're the same as his.

Pics please!!! It must have had a diamante front grill then, the diamante headlights wont work with the standard KS grille

Spot on. Diamante's are higher in terms of trim level but the body is closest to that of a Verada.


The Magna and Verada shared the same body, however, Verada models (Ei and Xi) had larger bumper bars for export to the USA.

Really it was for export, period. It used the larger "bench" style KR bumpers.

I actually found the diamante headlights to have a nicer beam than the clear KS paras. Must be the diffusers and the different lens design or something. I actually like the diamante headlights more than the verada ones ;)

The diamante ones dont look like they were just picked out of a box of parts when building the car, look more like they belong

I love mine, they look hot with the KS grille.

Diamante ones look good with the whole front end too though
