If you get rims with the correct offset, they should fit fine. Worst case scenario, you might need to roll the guards. 8 inch wheels should fit fine, although I can't verify personally.

andrewd had 20x8 wheels (IIRC) on his AWD (which was dumped on its guts) and he always bragged about never having any scrubbing.

I have 19x8.5 and +35 offset and don't experience any scrubbing and my guards aren't rolled.

I have 18x8's currently on the car and I reckon I have close to an inch between the wheel and the guard on full lock, being dumped shouldn't change anything, just make sure you don't go any wider than 8

ive tried 20 x 8, 42 offset with no scrubbing.

Also, 17x8 with 35 offset, with no scrubbing.

The issue that presents itself with 20s seems to be the tyre width. In order for 20s to be legal, they need a load rating of 95. It seems the only 20inch tyres in this load rating are 245 wide. The wide tyre is what tends to cause the scrubbing moreso than wide rims.

i had 20 X 8.5 tucking rim on my wagon, had to roll me gurads but. scrubbed in the front just sitting above the tyre, now i got 225/30's and tukn tyre at the front not scrubbing at all.

35 series are load rated for a magna aswell.

ive got 19*8s and ive just had the tyres changed from 245 to 235s and there fine now no scrubbing and there is more room to lower it so that might be the way to go
and nineteen by sevens might not be good for load ratings with the tyres ull have to put on them.
