Have tracked my engine shudder down to the rear engine mount being shagged. It has 3 or 4 nice cracks in it with oil leaking from them.
How much do rear engine mounts go for and is it a hard job to replace?

PM screamingTE he can make a nice set for you for a good price, and will be a poly unit as well so will be a lot stronger.

I'm running one of these ATM and its great works well
You don't need to brace or lift the motor to remove the torque stay's. The two mounts at the front and firewall side of the engine are really called torque stays, and not used to support the engines weight except for when accelerating or decelerating with the engine.
Just pop it out and replace it, it can be tricky but a solid set of sockets and spanners should make light work of it.
People with the rebuilt ones, do you notice any increased engine vibration in the cabin at all?

I checked with him but he doesn't have any rear mounts. Are there any aftermarket ones available for the rear or will i have to go OEM?
