ok, iv set an appointment with Penrith Muffler Man to get the Berklee BS0655 fitted and the guy i spoke to was very helpful and re-assured me that i was making the right choice, but i asked if i could retain the tip and although he said yes i can, he didnt recommend it saying it would be like "covering your mouth with your hand" as the berklee is 2.5" and the tip is only 2&1/4. I want to keep my tip but if its going to defeat the purpose of getting the berklee in the first place then i quess i'll just have to settle and swap it. I have a full week before i take it in so any help would be awesome....

Thanks to Grubco & Blue380 for recommending Penrith Muffler, the guy seems on the ball and i just hope the finished product is the same :D

He re-used my tip but it wasnt the standard one, it was bigger. I'm pretty sure Grubco kept his standard tip. Just out of curiosity, what price did he quote & where abouts in Sydney are you from?

Hi, yes I kept my original tip too. I don't have the oval VRX type tip but a round rolled lip tip (part of Limited Edition).
The whole job cost me $140 and about 1 hour waiting. I would definately recommend it.
And yes that guy is good to talk to about this or any muffler/exhaust plans you have.
PS You can see my whole Muffler Mod on my Grubco380 YouTube channel.
