how many seconds does it take for you to get up to 100kms from a standing start ? im on 11ish i think

stonesour: 11ish.. done any mods to the car? seems a little quick to be stock :P mine was doin 12's 0-100 when it was stock.. tho it also had a stuffed cat converter :?

i go 35 in first 60-65 in 2nd and the rest in 3rd

not sure when i change in first gear, but 2nd is anywhere between 80-90, and 3rd for the rest of it... 90k's in 2nd should be about 6000rpm. i reckon the car will probly go to almost 100k's in 2nd but im not willing to push it that far yet cos it hasnt had a rebuilt :)

so far its only got a hot air intake, a not quite perfectly tuned 180cfm holley carb, extractors, and a 2.5" exhaust :)

i like the sounds of your car.....
but think 1st gen gears can handle high revs.......my car goes 1st to 40 and 2nd to 60-70 3rd up to 80-90...and the rest is history.....it does seem to hate it.....so i go with it when i thrash the beast.....

is your car EFI but? i dont think the carby versions have limiters... or do they... :?

i heard of one dude with twin webers or something that could do over 110 in 2nd gear. thats upto 7-8000rpm... so they can definetly handle the high revs, but he also had lots of head work...

yeahi never push 2nd higher than 70 .............. i dont wanna thrash it to much

Did 100 in second today, wont ever do it again i just wanted to see how if i could do it, i usually change at like 4 1/2 or 5 grand cause thats when it feels like the torque drops.

The TN i drove hit the high 90's at 6k in second. I can't remember 1st or 3rd gear speeds but for a 14 year old car with a busted ass gearbox and 100% stocko i think 100 in 2nd is pretty bloody good. :D

Interesting, my te 4cyl gets to 75k in first and 125k in second gear, had it at 185k in third gear but backed off.

I get a flat 10seconds too, I have high flow rear muffler and Simota five inch pod.

I drove my cousins tn I think, we modified the intake and put a lukey on it, went very well, it had fuel injection though.

high 7 low 8, depending on track, air temp and launch.

I've Got an 85 magna and i got from 0 - 100 in about 11 seconds...all stock which I'm pretty surprised about....only used up to second gear to get it there. She was at about 5000 in second doin 100 :dancin:
