While they can be used on daily drivers, overtightening and stress can result in small cracks in the outer shell of the shift knob.

I guess these types of things will suit some but not all.
Funny how a head of a snake gets people revved up but the old redback or other large spider, scorpion, etc. doesn't seem to bother most.

My guess is these are 'farmed' for either meat or venom milking, etc. and then the skins/heads, etc. used like this and lots of other products.
We have leather seats in some cars - is that any less humane?
