Just got the sway bar fitted by Heasman Steering in Sydenham. Nice bunch of blokes and they have done a solid job on the car. Alignment and balancing done as well.

Had a bit of a fang on the way home, definately feels heaps better than normal, back end feels more stuck if that makes sense.

Only problem is i found a piece of metal stuck into the front right tyre, which may be causing a slow leak. Can low profile tyres be repaired?

depends on how big the hole is and where abouts on the tyre its located, if its on the sidewall, no way of repairing it, but on the tread near the middle should be able to patch it.

shouldnt be anymore then 20 bucks for a tubeless repair+balance. Also a 15min job tops.

sorry to hear about the tyre, when i had a screw stuck in my old tyres my mechanic fixed it up for free! only because i was giving him so much business, was that the tyre that was flat when we put it on the car? told you the swaybar was good!

yeah it was the one that was flat, no biggie! It seems to be holding pressure ok at the moment...

havent had a chance to try the bar out properly, but from what i can tell it has made heaps of difference over not having one at all

it makes a difference makes the **** end feel alot more stable going into corners! get it lowered and you will see how much different ur car handles, i must have ran over a screw or something in the carport with the car prior to you putting them on hope the tyre isnt ****ed!

after a few days of some spirited driving, i am pleased to say that the sway bar is easily the second best mod i have bought for the car. Understeer has been reduced to almost non-existent when pushing through on tighter corners, very suprising considering the front tyres are Maxxis Victra brand (which are suprisingly good in wet conditions). Rears are Goodyear F1's.

Is it possible to adjust the sway bar whilst it is still on the car? I have it on medium and have an inkling that putting it on the highest level of tension will help things further.

Adjustment on car.

Yes, crawl underneath and remove the links from the centre holes and move / retighten.

With a 3/8 socket set and a suitable spanner to stop the ball joint centre fro toratiing it should take about 10 minutes to do.
