Has anyone had any experince with fitting the TJ Verada grill to a stock TJ? I wanna put the chrome grill on mine as it's heaps sexier looking! Spoke to mates at Mits and they say it should but the verada bar is slightly different.

it's a 5min job.

All you need is a flat head screw driver to push the clips to unlock them and it more or less slides out.

The mounting points will be the same.

one thing to remember, make sure you pull straight, if you pull one side and twist one of the clips, you could snap something, otherwise they are pretty hard to break.

jifs,

It does fit and it is very easy...I fitted one to my VRX last week :!: :D

WhiteDevil is right, make sure you pull it straight so you don't break the mounting holes.

Here are some before and after pics....

(BTW - The pictures don't do it any justice - you have to see it for real :!: )

DAMN!! that is so much sexier looking, especially on a silver VRX! i'm so glad my TH Altera came with a chrome grill, many people have asked where it came from... stupid ugly black crap... chrome wouldn't cost much more 2 manufacture

if u want a fully chrome front grill like the one on the silver magna simply ask for a KJ VERADA Xi grill and it should cost u around $150.

What he said ^ :)

(P.S - If you are not after a new part, you may be able to pick one up
from a wrecker for a lot less)

(P.P.S - spready - What colour is your VRX?)

It must be done to all TJs. Even with the normal headlights it still looks good.

That's looking the goods. Now get the paras!

I'd love to see a Ralliart style grill for the TE-TH models.

that looks great VRX_MY02! i've never really been a fan of the stone guards, but i guess it helps re-sale...

and i'd never really been a fan of the TJ nose, but that grill suits it perfectly and flows nicely with the VRX front bar aswell. good work!

Thanks for your comments «Å§¥LüM»

I prefer the look without the stone guards as well...and sometimes take them off...but they seem to be resealing a lot of roads at the moment, so yeah, they will stay on for now... :(

Your car looks great also...I love white cars with dark tints. The VRX rims also look great on white cars...good work yourself :!:

Cheers! :)

It seems everyone is getting in on the grille swap! I have put silver mesh on the inside of my grey-ish TH grill but i need a black grill surround to make it look good. Anyone have a black one for sale? :)

Hehehe :D

"grille1-.jpg" is a photoshop as well :!:

The actual picture was taken in my driveway.

Here is a better one (I have had to reduce the resolution to keep it under 75K)
