I'll play the game
Where's the switch for the rear interior light, the 1 comes on when the tailgate is lifted. I've looked all over - so I thought - but I'm still missing it :headbange

oooh I love these games ummmm......... Is it under the spare wheel?

Maybe it doesnt have a switch, it just works when you open the boot and you have just blown a bulb or a fuse?

it should be on the switch itself, its a black 3 way switch...

Middle:On when the door is opened
Left: Off
Right: On

So the switch is on the switch hahahahaha classic and good find.....

Do not think that the rear wagon lights actually have a switch from memory, they are switched from the latch on the tail gate and are controlled by the interior light position. From memory if the interior lights is not switched onto door setting the rear light will not come on when the gate is opened. Might be thinking sigma too lol

Incorrect for the first time ever i think, it has a three way switch just like the interior light and functions exactly the same way as the interior light.

The brake pedal is right next to the break padal, be careful though, these thingies have an annoying habbit of making you run into toll bars and you may break your parapubic headlights

If I'm reading this correctly, and you are looking for the switch on the actual light and not the switch on the tailgate that controls it; from memory, on mine, the entire light itself slides as the switch. ie. you slide the clear cover left/middle/right to give the different switch positions.

My center interior light is like this but the cargo light has a switch on the cover of the light itself. They may have varied it from model to model though. Not sure why... but they may have.

Dunno, maybe I'm getting them mixed up. I'm at work so can't check.

It's either a black switch or a sliding cover. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out!:D

I would've taken pics but I've only recently removed the center light to upgrade to one with two rear maps lights as well.

Rogue's spot on though, black lever switch for rear and sliding switch for center.

I think he wants to know where the switch that lets the light know the tailgate is open is, as opposed to where the switch on the light is. lol

I'll have a look tomorrow.

Alright you jokers, I've managed to confuse you :P

Yes, when the tailgate is opened, the 'cargo' area light comes on.
My problem is, sometimes it comes on & stays on, sometimes it doesn't come on at all
Sometimes, it comes on, then goes off & stays off, & sometimes it flickers for a second, then goes off.
I've checked the bulb, power is running to it, so the next is to check the switch - switch as in like when a door is opened, the interior light comes on :)

Actually, I'd be checking the mount. I had my roof lining done recently and they ****ed up the alignment, the clips weren't making proper contact and it was doing the whole "flickery" thing. The clips that hold the light in need to be well and truly secure to ensure good grounding; grab the light and wiggle it around, see if that does anything to/for the stability of the lighting. If it doesn't affect it, then start looking at/for the switch. (not sure where it is off-hand)

Guess its a little late for pics but o well, i took one and im not going to all the trouble of doing it for no one to see it, mine flickers sometimes too or doesnt come on at all when i open the tailgate, have to hit it to make it work, might be a common problem, to lazy to fix it and i like hitting it:P

Mine was like this to but since I've put in my LED's it's been fine. Not sure if it's the LED's that have fixed it or whether I tightened up the screws more than they were before which then gave it a strong contact point like Rogue said. In any case, try anything and everything without having to replace parts, it could be something very simple.
