I'm wanting to lower the TJ, have seen everyone talking about King Springs Super lows for the front and lows for the rear. I spoke to a bloke at King Springs and he reckons that for the fron tto fit the super lows you hvae to trim the bump stops about 10mm so that they dont bottom out. Have any of you guys who have fitted superlows done this????

Can anyone post a pic of a side view of the low and super low to compare the height?? (Sorry if this is annoying)

The bump stops are there to PREVENT bottoming out. Trimming them increases the risk of damaging your shocks and also spring binding occurring which will also kill the springs in no time.

Unfortunately when you use super low springs or anything which drops such a huge amount you lose a lot of the suspension travel which is designed into the car; some people try to get some travel back by cutting the bumpstops or even running without them, but it's a bad move for sure.
