I have decided to turbo charge my 2.4L Magna TF and thought would share the process.
I have done a lot of research and thank god the eclipse came with a 4G64 as well.
Pls no comments that I am wasting time and money. I have always wanted to do it, have started it and well go all the way with it.
I have had a lot done to the Magna and still have a lot to do to it.
I have done the following and also have plans to rebuild my engine and chuck on an evo head (DOHC Swap)
I have a spare 4G64 engine sitting in the garage waiting to go the workshop and so many other parts that still need to be fitted.
So much to do, so little time.
- exhaust system
- Power windows with power window closer
- Black leather seats from verada (driver's is power seat)
- Black interior including roof lining and partial shelf in suede
- Sunvisor DVD players
- Roof mount screen
- JVC DVD headunit
- 2 x 12" subs
- Jaycar Splits and 6X9s
- 2 boss amps from America
I am in the process of doing my boot as well and wanting to motorise it.
I have attached some pics. Let me all know what u think. Will add more pics as I get them.

Where in gods name did you get the blue conduit. I want that so bad.
BOSS Amps? Like strathy ones?
If you put the DOHC head on it will be worth it. If not turboing it will just be for the turbo factor..
Great to see this happening though welcome to the forums aswell man...keep us all updated

Not bad but I'd look at rethinking the position of your pod filter.
Make sure you've got decent hose clamps too mate because with all those silicon joins you don't want a boost leak or have one popping off.
Does it work yet or is it still in progress? Automatic or manual? Any work done on the engine block and head themselves??
Um...COOL!?!
Keep us updated mate!

Thanks guy for the props and the welcome.
Conduit??? Do you mean the loom tube?? If so got it from http://www.larpro.com.au/
The Boss Amps are the BLADE SERIES as in the picture. They are currently packed away as the boot is currently being done as well.
Will definitely being doing the DOHC swap but taking it one step at a time at this stage.
The clamps I am using are both the Norma Hose clamps (as pictured) which are great and T-BOLT ones as well. Will probably get the piping welded some day when I think it is necessary.
It hasn't been started as yet. I am doing most of the work myself so I don’t get alot of time.
Hopefully in the next fortnight or so will be getting the car towed to an exhaust place to have a downpipe fabricated.
It’s currently automatic and I am aware I know I will need to go manual. Cause from what I am aware the stock auto transmission can only handle approx 8 - 10psi maybe even less.
Parabolic headlights are on the list as well mate. Thanks for all your advice guys.
Will keep you updated with some pics to come this weekend.

Sais you have to contact them for purchase inquiries. I hate how they do that but its bonus that they accept direct deposit.

It's an oversized lancer. Boys will be boys. I own one, I know exactly what it is. Be careful what you do with the exhaust cause mine is rice to the max.
