Gday guys, when i bought my car it came with two problems;
- Cracked perspect infront on the dials
- and this sort of fading/problem on the gear lights near gear knob (worst description i know)

(see between Reverse and Low there is some sort of disease over the numbers, its underneath the plastic that covers the letters)
so getting more to the point - how can i get this fixed? and wat am i replacing?
Also, with the cracked perspect; will i be able to go down to mitsu parts and get one there?

The gear surround facia just unclips fom the rest of the shifter, so that should be pretty easy and should be able to find one at a wreckers, as for cluster perspex im not sure.

Might be worth a trip down to the wreckers mate, Mitsu probably wont sell just a cover for the instrument cluster. Same deal with the gearstick surround try the wreckers I reckon

Dont really need the whole cluster, took off the perspects the other day, the cluster is in really good nick, just need a cover.
Looks like ill be getting in contact with IMLACHS very soon then. while on the topic on IMLACHS; looking at getting pair on TH tailights and they said they had a pair of used (good conditon) ones for $130 each, is that a fair price to be paying $260 for second hand tailights? JM

Just go down to your wreckers. But for the main dails cluster I have a spare one off my old TF if you want it?

Theres not really a big difference between the TF and TH tails, why you goin after them? I have a pair of TF tinted tails for $150
i havnt actually bought tails b4 but that sounds about rite, considering their seconds. as foe the perspex, just head down to the self serve on centre road (i think its IMLACHS but not sure) and pull it out yourself, will take you 10 mins tops. im prob heading down there myself on saturday.

i dont know, orange is an old car colour - red just seems to lift a bit better on the grey paint and makes it look a little newer. same sorta thing why people want clear side indicators i guess?

they are one and the same company sorry, i didnt literally mean the same
heaps of cars come into the centre road wreckers yards but never make it to be picked at
ahh k, yea i was ther like 3 weeks ago the few 3rd gens that were there looks like they had been sitting there for a while, i doubt they change them over too often.
