Can anyone say for certin if tn-tp front lower control arms are the same or atleast compatible?

You see my tp has damaged control arms from the last time a mechanic touched my car. So after a long hunt i manged to pick up a tn se sedan for a parts car. And i want to find out if i can put the control arms from the tn onto my tp executive sedan without going to the trouble of pulling a side off each only to find out it won't work.

for eg. i once asked if anyone knew if a recce tow pack from a tn would fit and most were confident that it would fit no hassle. but sadly it was about 1 cm to wide or maybe the tp has had a whack up the ass to move the rear rails closer together but theres no signs of this:cool:

well I have done several TN and TP lower control arm bushes & ball joints
they use the same part numbers
so one should be able to swap TN to TP

same spec front ends ..... by the factory repair manuals

First off, no, they aren't the same.

The control arms specifically are identical. The bushes differ. I found THAT one out the hard way.

I'm not sure when the changeover occured. I have an early TN, that doesn't have the metal fitted bushes, mine are cylindrical.

pedders supplied the lower control arm bushes

they fitted TN and TP sedans

I have replaced the metal bushes for
the poly blue and red ones with a crush tube no problem
