Go King springs, and if your shocks are still ok then there is no need to change them.

i've got kind lows/super lows combination and still using standard shocks. It's been like that for about 50,000 kms now and fine :)

I'de change the shocks,

However, im old school - im not hip to the groove, im a spoil sport.

Standard shocks can be used for up to 1" of lowering (some would say up to 4). However, you should* regas them, as they will now be taking more stress, in a shorter amount of shock travel.

*by you 'should' regas them at the very least, I meant to say, how much do you value your life anyway? Is it really worth that extra $300?

Avoid Pedders, no bull

They start off as standard and end up super lows very quickly

Years ago they were great, of recent years they are mexican crap and sag badly, my old KR was a classic example, looked good when first in, after 12 months the ass had sagged so badly it dragged its bum on the driveway all the time.

Pedders have a better ride than Kings but then again a spring is a spring, can't really change much

If your get superlows must change shocks... Or you'll hit a bump in the road and break your coxic bone

If you reckon a spring is a spring you have not seen half of Chisoholms posts then :bowrofl:

Obviously a no name brand would be fairly horrible, but the whole battle between Pedders, Kings and Lovells is stupid. I bet if I put them on a car people wouldn't be able to tell the difference...

Sure is a difference between those 3.

I had 2 of my rada's on Pedders and they are both now kings as the pedders were rubbish.

Too soft and also they have a fault where you get coil clash causing banging/knocking through suspension.

Biggest waste of $1000 i ever spent going near a pedders dealership.

Mate, unlike a lot of people on here I am not going to flame you for having an opinion but you will need to learn quickly that if you are going to make such a comment, have something to back you up like the 20 years experience that I have as well as many like Familywagon who's cars I have worked on and fitted Kings to.

Pedders do get coils hitting and are damn annoying as well as the sag (thinks Nige for reminding me of this lol)
