guys, i just recently changes all front suspension bushes, swaybar links, bushes, etyc...etc...but it still making some noises, kinda knocking sound, what could this be? strut bearing? need some advice here, thanks..

Did you take your car to a pro to get it checked out.. that might have been cheaper.

all repair was based on peeders suspension check report, i does fix a lot of things tho.....but they don't have anything on strut bearing...btw the noise apparently came out from the top of the strut.

dude, is it this knock or clunk sound when you go over small bumps or ripples on the road? If so, I've got the same problem, if you can solve it, let me know what it is.

A lose bolt of nut on the sub frame.

i have relatively new shockies (4months), and new bushes on everything...it's just left the strut bearing that's been there for almost 11 years... :D like i said the noise came from the top of the strut.

is the strut bearing just a bearing or does it absorb something, like having some kind of bushes on it?

WhiteDevil, it looks like your swaybar links is worn or something, i used to have the same problem as you before i changed everything, execpt for this one

i have never heard of a strut bearing before!!

but if you have lowered your car and haven't put lowered shocks in you could be hitting your bump stops - is it when you go around corners and over bumps that you hear it?

cornering is smooth, but going over bumps sounds like something is loose and it sounds heavy too, it's a solid sound, very thick and heavy sound, "clunk", My guess of the clunk would be about 15 to 20Hz and only the first peak amplitude clunk that I hear the most, it decays within 2 or 3 clunks.
