Quick question,
How much am I looking at for a decent dyno run?
I want a base line fiqure to work off before I start some serious modding.

Fiddy bucks? It doesn't take long, probably need two or three runs to get consistency.

Really depends where you go but around $50 to $80 for 2 or 3 power runs with a dyno graph print out.

If I don't get it done before I leave, are there any good places in Vic that you guys trust?

I have had 2 dyno runs done at 2 different places (that both use Dynamic Test Systems dynos).
Pro-Tek Automotive in Preston and Russell Performance in Dandenong.

...won't you need a 4wd dyno?

The 2 places i've used both have 4WD dynos.

grelise both these places are open on Saturday mornings so if you want to do a dyno run when you're down here we can drive to one of them. Maybe some other VIC AMCers can come along as well if they wanna do a power run or just watch.

If its possible try to get a run done on a Dyno near where you live, because when you do a heap of mods and want to dyno it again you can overlay the previous runs to show you exactly how much of an upgrade they were.
