A mate of mine has a 2004 model with the boot release in the glove box and no key release on the actual boot, well its not opening. Her pram, nappy bag, handbag etc is in there, and obviously she needs it lol. Cant get to her bag's coz they are folded up with the pram.

Apparently there is an emergency cord release somewhere inside the boot that you can grab through the access point between the two back seats but she cant find it.

Anyone know?

Yeah, it's there; pull down the hatch between the seats, you are looking for a ring pull on the drivers side of the opening. about the middle ie between top and bottom. Check the glovebox one again though, it may not work when the keys are in the ignition.

I don't recall seeing a release inside the boot on my KH. They probably added it to the TL's since there is no boot lock for a manual release.

:P gf locked her overnight bag in there after we got back from bargo and I had the only key that works with the boot :)

Plus, the remote is only working 70% of the time now, and the boot release button is broken.
