Just want somthing that will drop in without too much stuffing around. Are they 6" or 6.5" ? What will go in the easiest?

i had 6 1/2" splits in mine...fitted sweet with no modification

where did you guys stick the crossover box???

i had mine bolted on behind the door skin. fit snug as.

as for splits around 100bucks. Save for abit longer and spend atleast 200.

you get wot u pay for, so spend abit more!

I only eva use pioneer when it comes to speakers thow!

get some ESk Herz 6.5inch components they go for around $230 and are pretty damm good. The HSK Hertz splits are a bit better but they are around $100 more.

i'd disagree and say almost never use pioneer for speakers. Good decks, thats about all. There are many many other better brands out there for speakers (eclipse, JL Audio, Focal, Hertz, Dynaudio, Cadence and the list goes on).

6 or 6.5inch speakers fit no worries dude. If you dont have an amp i would suggest only getting co axial 2 ways or something as most splits are power hungry.
