Hey guys,
my friend locked his keys in his 2nd gen verada last night and he tried to use a coathanger in the passenger side to jimmy his way in.. didnt work lol, had to call RACV.
Now that passenger side window won't go up or down, we had a look at the wiring and everything and nothing got d/c or frayed, what could have happened?? all the other windows work fine. Any help would be great as he cant drive it until it gets fixed!

why cant he drive it until the window gets fixed?

so the whole car doesnt go now, or just the passengers window? coz i read it to mean just the passengers window not working...

obv it was working before the keys got locked in?

i would be going with a wire has been knocked out somewhere when pushing a coathanger thru the door.
check that all the plugs have the same amount of wires on them each side - if they dont, look for a loose wire and if the colour matches its a good bet that thats the one you want.

could also be just coincidental that the window motor decided to stop working the same time due to another fault (dead window motor etc)

he goes to tafe with it, doesnt want to park it there with a window down. And yeah just that window, we checked the wires, all were fine. Will let him know about the motor though, thanks dodd
