well, I am looking at needing a new bonnet, grill, front bar etc for my TH, thought it might be the opportune moment to get a TJ conversion done. Does anyone know if there is, and how much, a price difference in the cost of parts? Basically, its an insurance job, want to ask the repairer if he will go the TJ way and I cop the difference.

Also, what parts exactly need to be swapped over? Is it just the bonnet and grill, or are there other parts as well?

Bonnet, grill and latch. Oh and the little black thing between the grille and the radiator support bar, cover thing so you dont see down the radiator.

Everything else is all the same.

See if you can find a panelbeater that is a mate of some sort, much easier to do this sort of thing if you know the guy. If you know them REAL well they can just write off the new TJ bonnet as a replacement.
