hey guys i was kinda bored today, so i was going around the car looking for somthing to pick on. and i decided to fix up some of the plastic trimmings, on the outside of the car, as some of the plastic trimmings are starting to fade, so i found lying around in the garrage, a spray can of rubber. its a paint that dries into a rubber like coat. so i thought i would give it a try
results came up great! and im hinting to you LIFE. so i found the best places for it are the windscreen surround, rear window surround, taillights sourround and front indicators sourround. makes them all look like new again

A little Meguiars Plastic and Trim Detailer on a terry cloth, applied after you wash the car is another option

Well for the 2g's with grey platic bumpers that get savagely attacked by UV, I found that tyre shine generally makes the nice and dark again. Though if not applied often, it comes off and looks ugly. so apply twice a month and after a while it's as if it sinks in and the bumper stays that colour...

Durr shoulda clicked the link.....
Found a place in Wetherill Park that stocks it... had a can of black UV stabilised spray.
$36 incl GST
Yeah me happy now... Just gotta figure out a way to remove what's left of the black paint around the rear windscreen surround without total destruction!!!
Thanks again...
Never thought this stuff would exist!!

Hmm. I see you targetted me with this one. Only problem is the part that is bubbling is rubber already, so I can't really sand it back :( The rest of the plastic is in good shape, hell its barely 8 years old :)
And I see you got a replacement window trim :P Having your old one fly off and all...
