hey guys n gurls....ok theres a cruize coming up in sa....and i wanna get a better exhaust for my car.....im getting some chrome tips from gerad(a member of the forums)
and he has a 2nd gen....i was thinking i could put a 2nd exhaust/mufler on my car..u guys know if that would be better performence...???

if thats a crap idea wat else u got for me....cheap but effective....any ideas would be a great help

well few weeks back i got quoted $140 for a lukey ultra flow installed. it didnt include a tip but he said they range from $20-$200

how much better would the car run from that....or any exhaust?

dude .. visit a el cheapo place and pay around $150 max for an 'sports exhaust' and a tip .. thats all I paid for the one thats on my car now.

exhast tequnicks (or what ever the hell it is) on goodwood road put mine on, lukey muffler and a tip for $220 installed, noticed an improvement, doesnt look too bad, and there was a choice of 5 or 6 different tips.

$210 got me 2.5 inch exhaust installed and they told me to give em a tip and they will weld it on for free

i brought the koolest metalic red tip last week ........ but stupid me fort it on slid ontop of usual size tips not already large ones :evil: i had to take it back. but damn it would have looked nice

Extractors is about $330 (280 not fitted) and 2 1/4 system is $245.
about $700 for whole exhaust system.

Mac's Mufflers 3265 2683 (Geebung)

$280 for extractors ($200 without being fitted), 280 for new cat and some
other thing, couldnt hear right, 220 for 2 1/4 exhuast inc. muffler
$780 for whole system


Thats what i had priced for me over the phone, the macs mufflers dude said "why do you want lukey?" and i went "oh ive heard some magna guys saying they were good so i thought i'd go with whats tried and proven" and he goes "they're all the same, lukey, redback, redback has better packing and a longer warranty" and i just went "true" and yeah, better warranty does sound good but, i thought i'd ask you guys what you think before i went off and did anything, i might go with mac's anyway since they are about an hour closer to me and they do have a reputation with driftking and shit so yeah, who knows eh? they're also right next to geebung train station so i can go catch a train watch a movie in the city and come back and get my car, sounds like a plan eh?

same thing was said to me when i asked for a lukey... he showed me it, then pretty much convinced me to get another brand... i think i ended up with a 'supercat' muffler. same design as the lukey, just bigger, stronger, and heavier - :( ahwell, aslong as it sounds good :)
