Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to remove the grills from the TL's bumper? I want to attach my VR badge to the passenger-side grill, but need to get it off to do it the way I want.

I removed the two plastic push-screws from the top, but I still can't get it to budge. I don't want to pull on it to hard for fear of breaking it. My car would look like it had been punched in the mouth and lost some teeth if I did lol

Any ideas?

Cheers

going by the service manual , there are 2 screws holding them down

It's only the push screws man, The rest is being held in by tabs and feels tight due to the angles. Unless it changed between yours and my model. Try the old giggle and pull I think it angles back towards the engine bay.

There's something about the exposed engine bay of my TL that drives me crazy.

I swear the previous owner had a niece that spilled her milkshake in the engine bay, that's all it is.

Once two top plastic screws and clipf removed the grill will just pull out. Reverse to put back in. Just line up and push into place and reinstall clips and screws. It will feel tight but will eventually come out.

You really have to pull on it. Pull the top back at 45* until it sticks on the surround, and then pull it side to side. You'll feel like you're going to break something, and it's usually around then that it pops out.

Thanks guys, I'd found scraps of information that suggested it was just tight, but wanted to check first.

Cheers :D
