no it doesnt champ......

hooking up an amp via high level signal - aka: speaker wires, is a very ineffiecent any low quality audio way to go

you will be much better off investing in something like a Rockford Fosgate 360.1 or another brand - they have a remote out to turn on your amps - as well as correcting the frequencies you h/u puts out, boost your h/u output voltage to 5v - a much better solution

There's a 3sixty.1 and a 3sixty.2

Wow great info people, But its looking just as easy to upgrade my head unit. I have a small arsonal of car audio sitting collecting dust, I just dont really fancy disecting the 380s interior to install it all. PS ; I upgraded my rear 6x9 speakers, This is a fantastic upgrade and I highly recomend it to any 380 owner. To be frank its an absolute must do after this upgrade the factory stereo goes good, I was impressed but I do miss feeling BONE SHAKING BASS  Its sooo adictive

Here a page on those marvellous little gadgets which allow you to keep your steering wheel controls with an aftermarket Stereo.....

The Aussie dollar sucks against the greenback ATM.
So an import looks for me unlikely at this stage..

Get ready for a shock if you have the 6 stacker and want after-market..

It might have to be this puppy

Hey as a single CD equipped 380 owner, this doesn't look too bad. Still a bit pricey but wait til after Christmas. Personally I haven't missed a 6 stacker at all, not when I can burn hundreds of mp3s onto a CD-RW. And the full ad for this unit mentions USB & ipod connectivity, which means you could potential cram thousands more mp3s through it without the need for 5 more discs.
