I need the rear engine mount and associated damper for my 3 litre manual TS. Are aftermarket mounts OK or should I stick with genuine parts here? Also where would be a good place to get these?
Thanks!

When you say aftermarket engine mounts, you mean another generic brand as such to replace with or performance ones? If its just standard replacements, I would just try Mitsubishi, then try Coventries (something traders in SA?) Repco / Or even your local mechanic would have a good idea where to go find them
I don't know where the previous owner got ones for my car, but I have supa dupa stiff ones in my engine bay and I love them :) If you are after these, I can find out for you in the next couple of day where he got them

Motor Traders. Division of Coventry Fasteners. :) They stock the Kelpro engine mount line if I recall correctly, which do come in specific makes for the TR/TS 2.6 and 3.0, and they are quite a good brand of mount.

IF you do not mind feeling the engine a little more through the car go the Manual ones as these are solid centre unlike the auto which are not.

Thanks for this. I hope I can find something decent here in Qld.

Don't suppose that applies to the TN? Stupid weak crumbly mounts.
