so i was wondering if there was a version of the 3.0 released without the ac so i can just grab that belt untill i can afford a new compressor if there is does any one know the part number ?

mine goes clunk sometimes when i turn the ac on but it sill works, does this mean i ned a new one??

cant really hold out much longer need to be able to use the car had a mate hoist it up on sunday took the blet off and had a look at it thing was red hot and the pully is looser then paris hilton put it back on and by the time i got home smoke was pouring from it taking the belt off and playing with it must have been the final straw in making it seize

edit: i can hold out if i can get this belt to just cut out the ac

If you still get run a piece of string around witout going over the AC , then take the string off, measure it then go and get from local autoshop.

What else down the belt to the AC drive?

if it's only power steering or alt you should be fine to drive to your local shop
