Anyone know of where to source some cool looking speaker [B]covers[B] to replace the ones in your doors? I got the Alpine S-types specifically because they look so hot and then was cut when I got the car back from the audio shop and theyre hidden under the stock covers!
Cheers all

well obviously it's not the only factor, but when you spend money on something you wanna see what it's gone towards don't you? Everyone's different.

Well I care what they look like, or I wouldn't have posted... Thanks anyway

You have 4 options that i can think of:
- Leave the speakers behind the stock covers and enjoy the sound they make
- Remove the stock covers (very easily done)
- Remove the stock covers and then put the covers on that came with the speakers.
- Remove stock cover, buy some chrome mesh and cover up the newly found hole with it.
Option 2 may result in kicked speakers, option 3 will probably look silly, option 4 would be unique and something different, but who knows if it'll look any good.
Either way they're in your doors at feet height, no one will really be able to see them anyway.

I have a set of Focal 165-V3E's... They are the most visually boring speaker I've seen, especially the grilles, so the whole thing is stuck behind my stock grilles and doorcards. The truth is people don't care what your speaker looks like, it's how it sounds, dead set you don't stare at a speaker and go '**** that looks good'. You listen to it and think, oh.... Alpine :P
My bias aside, leave them behind the stocko grilles and do something interesting with your subwoofer install.

Mine are pretty boring... Silver cone with 'Infinity' on them, kinda pretty in a subtle way :)
Try DD for example, ugly as sin but god damn do they punch.

YOURS are boring1
Mine are silver cone with a very small "KENWOOD" written in centre...they give a nice kick though, so they'll have to do!

Yeah that's the plan. I'm going ahead with the two PXW1251's reverse mounted and on a slightly upwards angle. They look killer those things.
