Hi all.
My son has just brought a 94 Model TS and the Heater Control Panel doesnt light up at all when we turn the lights on.

Can someone please tell me the easiest way to change the globes in these and how many are there behind it?

Thanks for all your help.

Cheers

Peter

Hi mate, welcome to the club.
I had mine replaced recently, it is only one bulb - i'm not 100% on how to remove it though. I'll consult my repair manual when i get home and get back to you if no one else has answered!

*edit - Just remembered i started a thread when i had this problem, there's a solution on how to install the globe in this thread: Linky (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59651&highlight=heater+controls)
The search function is really useful if you need some answers really quickly, there's a good chance most questions have been asked before ;)

Here you go, this might help if you don't have a workshop manual handy:

Removing the console will only be a few screws (do a search if you get stuck), you shouldn't have much trouble getting to the air con unit, its pretty straightforward in the 2nd gens :D

See my post in the thread posted above (two above; Pete posted while I was posting...). Basically it's hard to get the heater control box out, but you can pull it down just far enough to squeeze some fingers over the top of the box, feel around for the single bulb holder, give it a twist and it will pop out.
Maybe have a look at the instrument cluster or similar to get familiar with the bulb holders and how they twist-lock in and out.
