I'm looking at swapping the TH for a 380. In QLD there are several series III SX for around $15K and the series II VR-X start at around $18k.

What will the VR-X give me over the SX?

I'm mostly interested in sporting/handling featuresand I can't seem to find much info on this.

Cheers.

Try this, they still have 380 info on the Mitsubishi Motors website.

The SX, GT and VRX share the same suspension tune (KYB Oem Shocks Apparently)
Mechanically, the difference is choice of Manual as standard with the VRX,
Other than that, the VRX boasts the badge, Charcoal Mesh inserts F & R and Fog Surrounds (Black on the SX), Different seat fabic, Different style of 17"'s, And Spoiler as standard.

So if you want the Auto, The SX is pretty attractive.

If you go for the Series II SX you can then dress the back end up with the Series III VR-X wing.

Also don’t forget the chrome strip between the tail lights from the LX and GT-L.

If you prefer a factory leather interior your only choice is the VR-X

Check out the first page of the Post Your Ride section for how good wings looks.

I think the series 2 VRX was the best 380 car hands down.
It came with standard leather which the series 3 VRX did not.
