Will it fit?

I was looking at mitches rear bar today around lunch time and thought mine would look excellent if I was to fit one like it - Since I already need a respray I'm thinking of a whole new bar.

should fit i would think - prolly need the TL rear Reo. to make it fit up, but that shouldnt be too hard i dont think.

i dont think the physical dimensions of the boot opening / tail lights changed toooo much (if any) between TH and TL.
might require TL tail lights maybe to finish it off? but that would also require TL boot lid i think..

Ultimate plan is go go tj+ lights and boot lid, but I need to get all the body bits before the respray (car is in desprite need of one).

Maybe TL VRX rear bar with TJ VRX body kit?

if you want to upgrade to TJ tails on a pre TJ, you need the TJ bootlid as it wont line up perfectly otherwise - so i think those two go hand in hand.

You need a TL bootlid. Your current lights will fit, but, there wont sit 100% flush.

If you going for a VRX rear end, dont expect anychange out of about $1000 to do the job correctly

personally i preferred the TL boot lid over the TJ boot lid - its much more flowing.

and 2.30 is a great time for ideas - just dont start working on them at that time of the morning though!!!

Either you can get lucky, and pick one up from a wrecker, but, thats pretty rare. Not many TL VRXs go through Sydney wreckers. If its a different colour, then you need to get it painted.

Theres one bloke on ebay selling bodykits, he had a TL vrx rearbar awhile ago for under $500. I beleive he gets them quite often. Problem with this is that it needs to be painted etc etc

Bootlid is easier to find. Im sure there a plenty of white, TL bootlids from the wrecker.

You could probably do a normal TL rear end alot cheaper, than a VRX one.
