did a quick search before starting the thread - but having a search word as 'lights' does tend to bring up a lot of threads about a lot of stuff that seems to be unrelated.

found threads about people putting clear covers on thier red door lights - but thats not what im after.

anyhow;
noticed tonight, that the drivers door, red warning / door card light, is not working anymore. passenger one works, and the interior light still work as per usual.

what sort of globe is back there is my main question - im assuming its one i can just grab from anywhere.
im assuming that i can pop the red cover off and get at the globe without having to take off the entire door card? (partly coz im afraid to pull these door trims off as i dont know where to start on them!!! lol)
while the red covers are off, i will prolly change them to the clear ones though on both sides :)

nothing major - i just like lights and like them to work correctly and the like :)

cheers

if its like a TJ the whole light comes out and its a t5 wedge bulb

just gently lever it and either the cover will pop off or the light will come out in 1 piece.

if ur replacing the covers, dont worry about the bulbs, as the new covers come with bulbs as well :) u buy the whole assembly from memory (was a while ago i did the swap)

phoned mitsu for clear lenses... phoned back - sorry, i dont have a part number for them..
so i pulls up the parts list thread here - read out the part numbers to the guy on the phone... oh cool they do make them.....

the lense only part number on the parts list, is apparntly not a valid part number that shows up in mitsu / carlisle mackays computer parts listings - but the whole assys are.

they are coming from sydney, so *might* have them by the end of the week.. then again.. this is mackay... might have it for the end of next week.
EDIT - forgot to ask howmuch its going to be costing me... hmm note to self, one should know these things BEFORE making purchases.. it could be expensive... haha

seems i do all my own parts hunting for the dealership - what happened to the days when the parts people used to think and actually look for you?
nah they arnt that bad really - just a little vent from me (not the best day at work it seems)
