Last week or so been noticing a reverb coming from the exhaust coming from the first muffler after the cat. Also noticed a bit of a vibration coming up through the console.

Can't see the hole but I can hear it pretty clearly so other day went to my muffler guy. Told me it was a common problem for magnas so tomorrow Im getting the centre muffler replaced with a hot-dog for $90.

Anyone know if this is gunna change my exhaust sound much?

replaceing a muffler with a hot dog, will result in a louder exhaust note, possibly a bark, and a bit more of a drone,

if you were to replace it with another oval muffler, even a 'straight' through design.. it would be similar to what you previously had

louder and bark sounds awesome. Drone doesn't bother me, when Im listening to my music it drowns out my exhaust anyhow.

Got the hotdog on today, makes it sound a whole lot cleaner and smoother. Not too much change in volume but im stoked.

Told me my rear muff is towards the end of its life so gunna get that replaced in the next week or two. Muffler bloke said the rear one is a mercury muffler and if I want the same sound to replace it with the same. Its a tiny muffler compared to some of the Lukey and stock VRX ones but it has an awesome bark to it and puts out a big noise when pushed.
