jesus christ what a difference
im still not used to the clutch yet but it is so much better to drive, so glad i got it done.
changing from 2nd to 3rd at 80km/h and losing traction is awesome funny in a magna, but with the price or tyres ill keep that to a minimum.
all i need to do now is complete the cruise control wiring and get a boot made its all done

Sounds great, I miss my manual sometimes.
...all parts cost $1700 + $500 labour, done in a day by my mate...I wonder how much it'd cost if you went to a shop/mechanic to get this done. Would be great to know how much your 'mate' saved you.

The workshop that will be doing my conversion quoted me about $1000 so his mate saved him half

YLD35L said $500 was what he charges, and honestly for the amount of work that went into it i think its a bargain

just got back from the auto eleco, i showed him the wiring diagrams that were posted in another thread from mohit i think, he doesnt seem to think that idea will work. he seemed to think the wiring diagrams and descriptions will result in the brake lights staying on constantly.
he does however, think that it will only take him an hour or so to fix (piss easy he said).
its booked in for friday morning, so ill get him to do a complete run down for me and ill post it.
