The heater in my TR V6 wagon has suddenly ceased to function.
It's blowing nearly cold air no matter where I position the control knob.
Workshop manual shows a control cable. Is this cable the most likely cause of the problem?
Is it hard to get at? I know summer's coming on but it gets really cold around Emerald Vic.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check your heater hoses too, they are located near your firewall... might be blocked?

Thanks to the one member who responded.
Problem was easy to put right. I removed centre console and radio and discovered circular heater cable eyelet had slipped off nylon split knob on rotary switch.
Repair was made easier from previous experience when I fitted a clock.
