One of my foggies has stopped working and needs changing but Im having trouble with the whole changing it process.
I did a search and came up that I need H3 globes but I got underneath the car bout 20mins ago and after a bit of fiddling and swearing I got the globe out but its got this white wire hooked up to it. Iam I supposed to just yank the globe from the gold frame thing around it? Its pretty stuck in there.
Any help cheers
H3's have one pin directly onto the metal bulb bracket, and the other on a thin wire with a pin on the end, is that what your talking about? In my experience they've always been blue, but different manufacturers are bound to use different colours.
You just take the globe out normally, and pull both pins from the globe, the wire should still be attached to the bulb when you remove it, it shouldn't stay in the housing.

VRX is pretty easy..
Take a Phillips head screw drive and remove the two screws that hold the colour coded surround on over the front of the fog light. Once thats removed you will see there is two brackets off each side of the light assemble holding it on. Undo the 4 screws and becareful you dont drop them as if you do it 80% chance you will loose them as they get stuck in the front bar assembly and you can get them. Once those four have been removed carefully slide the whole light assembly forward and out. Once you get it out you will see the wires on the back. To make it easy as your a beginer i would proberly undo the plug and remove the light completely from the car. Once light is out remove the cover on the back by just twisting it off and then you will see glode and plug. unplug the positive wire(white)(only wire off the globe) and remove the globe from under the little metal clip. When fitting the new one dont touch the glass with your fingers..:)
The white wire you are talkin about will be the power.. Don yank it. hold the plug with one hand and pull wire out out. Dont need to get under the car. Pull light assembly out of the front. 3-5min job to change a globe that way..:) no need to get under car..:)
Good luck..:)
