Hey everybody.
At present; my car is lowered and it feels pretty low to me, but I really have no idea how low.
So I figured the best way to find out would be to track down all the "obligatory can pics" that I could, then take one myself and have a bit of a compare.
So; does anyone have a can pic of their car (or someone elses) handy? If so, if you could post it (or a link to it) in here that'd be great.
Thanks!
PS. For anyone who isn't familiar (just in case) the "obligatory can pic" refers to a picture with a standard 375ml beverage can placed up against the wheel of the car either under or as close to under the body work as it can be to give a clearer indication of ride-height. :)

i dont have a pic, but a can wont fit under my front bar, but if you chop of about 5 mm or so it should just scrap under.

But your car is wearing a skirt. :P
Mine's a fairly stock rada so it's got a bottlenose dolphin poking out the front and then a set of foggies under that.
... I wonder if a can will fit under the foggies.
Front of car (wrong angle for now):

EDIT:
PS.
Compared to your car mine is riding VERY high, lol.
It's got a good 20mm clearance above the can at the lowest point of the front bar / grille

Looking at your profile, it looks like you actually have very similar suspension on there to me, so potentially the difference is just in the bodywork, unless the "stage 1" Sports Ryder's are different to the "Sports Ryder Coil Spring Low" on mine (info I got by reading the tag on one of the spinrgs).

Only got 250mL cans on hand, which are taller than 375.

You've been drinking too many energy drinks methinks. :P
Another factor that's making my ride height a little weirder to work out than others is the fact that I have lower than recommended rolling diameter wheels + tyres at the moment. As a result, the car itself is sitting a little lower down, but the space between the wheel arch and the body appears wider.
TW AWD KING lows, can + 1o mm.

You've been drinking too many energy drinks methinks. :PHey, year 12 exams, energy drinks are mandatory! Only reason I've got Vs is that they taste slightly more pleasant than the new Mothers.... and the Vs were on special... actually I could've bought multiple singular Mothers (500mL can, same concentration of guarana and that as Red Bul) and it would've still been better value. oops

If you can Measure from the top of the guard to the ground front and rear, these are your "eyebrow" heights, you will be able to get a better understanding once you have these numbers and other members will be able to get you there specs as well.
Also your shocks/springs could be rooted and thats why you are sitting so low as well.

Sweet, ta.
That is entirely possible, it has struck me that the guy who owned this thing before me didn't take the greatest care of it. Mechanically tho it has appeared to be in pretty good condition so far. But I'm still looking for stuff that's wrong with it, it was only $4700. :)
