Hello Peoples, Just a quick question. Has anyone used or know much about these MP3/FM Modulators (link Below) you can get for the car? Im looking at giving one ago so I can play my mp3s from my mp3 player on my car radio. Are they any good? I doubt they would be perfect quality, but something half decent would be fine for me.

Mp3 modulators work pretty good. You basically get FM radio quality audio which isn't too bad.
I bought one for my brother-in-law cause he does long drives in his company car and obviously can't install an MP3 headunit.
Just remember to use a station that has little signal as possible to get the cleanest signal.

They're "ok" but not perfect.
Head units with AUX in really aren't that expensive these days (around $100) so you may aswell just get a new head unit and plug your MP3 player directly in?

A lot depends on the car itself, I have a Good Name brand unit, doesnt work at all the 380.
But works a treat in the TW.
Give us some specs on your radio, and if you have an MP3 player already.
I think thats an FM transmitter not a modulator (in-line). Pls correct if I'm mistaken.

I have got just the stock CD/Radio player in my TJ VRX. I dont want to install a new head unit because I want to keep my car the way it is, So I thought these FM modulators where the way to go.

I had one but the quality was just too crap compared to CDs. I'd just get an MP3 headunit if I was you. Can you do an AUX input on TJs any way?

There is no AUX input on the front of the head unit. And I dont want to buy a new head unit, end of story.
