Very nice choice of rims!
Gee its a hard one they both look sweet!
I'm not a huge fan of black on black though, so my choice would swing towards the Hennessy. Is it shadow chrome?

Try being the person who has to decide
Yeah i would say they're shadow chrome

Will 20x8.5 fit straight in plug and play or will i have to alter some stuff like the the gaurds or anything?
Anyone out there with King lows sps that have 20's.. would like to see the gap between the wheel arch and the tyre, if there is one..
Sp's just aren't low enough

What size tyres are you going to run?
Being a Verada, did it come with 16"s stock? If so, you may be able to run one profile size larger than what you might normally consider which will help fill that gap.
Have a look here (http://www.wheelsmaster.com/rt_specs.jsp?item=Wheel-Tire%20size%20comparer&showRim1=1&showTire1=1&sw1=215&ar1=60&bd1=16&rd1=16&rw1=6.0&et1=45&showRim2=1&showTire2=1&sw2=245&ar2=45&bd2=18&rd2=18&rw2=8.0&et2=42&text1=&text2=) and see what will fit.

Definitely the Hennessy ones it'll give your car that sweet luxo cruiser look, especially in 20's. The only time the other ones will look any good is when your car is in motion.

the rogues
im not a fan of completely murdered out cars, but a black car with a black rim with that chrome lip looks freaking awesome
makes the difference between looking like your rolling on stockies, or rolling on freaking nice classy rims
the rogues have a much nicer shape too

black bits on my rims are fine
apart from a one of them which i accidently cleaned a bit too thoroughly on the black bit :(
terrible to keep clean though, you've gotta constantly clean them because black rims are surprisingly the most noticable for dirt

I would say both of these would look crap on a Magna, the OP's 2 choices would look heaps nicer.
Those rims would suit a Euro car that has been riced up.

Straight on fit. Offset is 46.
With tyres fitted and balanced $2500
20x8.5
Sounds the goods?
Should i ask anything about what profile i'm after or should they know?

225/35 20 nankang or nexen

Which brand is better?
Should be doing your home-work on tyres, more important than rims.

i wouldn't recommend either of those tyres.... if any, nangkangs are a bit harder, so should last a little longer. i'd get a price on changing to at least firestones or toyo's...
probably wouldn't bother with Bridgestone, Dunlop or Michelin in those sizes, you'd probably be looking at a good $500-600 a corner!

had brand new nexen's on the xr8 when i bought it.... they lasted 5 months, rear tyres shredded and fronts bald. :bowrofl:
If I'd choose between the the two, nankang's for sure... but yeah, i'd look into something a bit better if you can afford it.

Ive found with tyres you get what you pay for, cheap tyres = cheap performance, also to the guys who say they are nice and grippy, have you pushed your car to the point you are losing traction in the dry?

yeah, of course...
i wasn't going on the basis on how well it went around a roundabout.
why can't a select few of you accept that there can be such thing as a better than average tyre, that also is well priced.
