G'day y'all,

I'm having trouble with my boot on the TP, it sits 2cm or so proud of where it should be, I've tried unbolting the nuts on the arms and this only gives maybe 3-4mils of movement, I've also played around with the side spring settings for different tensions, still no good...

It seems the hinges are in a fixed pivot point with no movement to be made? anyone else have this problem or know the cure???

Cheers!

Have you tried the adjustment in the latch? that will stop it from closing completely.

By that do you mean the metal 'hook' the boot latches onto when you close it??
If you havent already, loosen the 2 bolts holding it on, and slide it down a little bit, but not all the way down since then you will have to put a lot of force down to shut the boot

Otherwise, there are 2 bolts on each side of the boot, connecting the hinge to the bootlid. If I remember correctly, you can loosen these then and adjust the lid as the holes for the bolts are elongated so you can adjust the position of the bootlid.

Otherwise, floater05 may be on to something. Has the car been in an accident before, because to boot/body shell might be a bit warped :doubt:

Mmmmmmmm... twisted boot lid could be perhaps, I don't think it's been in a hit, but I've tried pretty much all else.

Thanks for the feedback chaps..

Oh and Jagemesh TPBlazin! I like you! I like sex!, it's nice! :D
