Whilst browsing or should i say,being shown some of the new stuff ...:D :D at the MITSI CLEARANCE PLACE,came across some all red tailights.

They are off a KH i assume,thing is can anyone point me or show me what these would look like on a silver TH Sports or any light colored Magna..or perhaps what the rear end off the Verada looks like so i can see how the reverse lights may have to be set up....thanks

They are the 96 (aussie "built" year) or MY97 onwards model as the yanks knew it, AE-AH NAS diamante lights that you saw.

Oh and they used very very similar lights on the KE/KF veradas here in australia

do they have the line in the middle of the taillight that seperates the indiactor from the rest of the light?

aftermarket they are illegal to do as the revrese lights are on the bootlid, but if someone pings you for that they are just being a prick.

just wire up the indicators to come on in reverse but still use them as indicators. just need a couple diodes.

Why would you do that when they have reverse lights? 99% of people wouldn't even know you'd changed anything on the car anyway. If you make the indicators light up for reserse it becomes obvious to everyone.

hmm so there are all red ones and orange+red ones hey?

i bought a pair of KE rada tails of ebay, and one of them has a red lens at the top, and the other has an orange lens :doubt: i gave them a good coat of niteshade on the weekend. hopefully that hid the difference.

if you use them with the boot inserted reverse lights they are legal (i hope!) i dont really think that using the indicator as a reverse light will work with these...

Because unless the OP is doing a Verada bootlid changeover he will not have any reverse lights as they are in the bootlid mounted lights on the verada.
