As the title says today I was in the woolies carpark - just spent 350 bux on my weekly shop and was already a tad upset about that lol, but was giving way to the incoming traffic at a t intersection and an older woman reversed out and hit me, no damage to her car but it creased my back door quite efficiently. i am so cranky that she didnt check her mirror - and she admitted that too, but we got onto our insurance and it will all be taken care of and i dont lose my no claim bonus which is a good thing.
Just upset that my baby isnt so pristine anymore boohoo
Sucks mate. On the bright site thats pretty minor cosmetic damage, just don't accidently put the window down in the meantime haha, and make sure you check it when its fixed! :P

Sorry to hear that... but at least she didn't do a runner on you like the guy that nudged me from behind, about 1.5 years ago, and then took off without a second thought (luckily there was no damage).
Anyway I hope you get it all fixed up okay.

Funnily enough she couldve of took off cos i blocked her in lol, i didnt move til she got out and started talking to my hubby!! i had to go and find another park and head back to where they were exchanging all the details. it took all my effort not to go off my tree lol.
oh well **** happens and it will get fixed and that is really all that matters but i had to have a bit of a rant.

Damn not good, at least the lady admitted fault.
A week ago my mate was in the Maccas drive through and a lady in a tray back ute decided she didnt want to be there and reversed straight into his bonnet and front bar.
The lady said she didn't see him in her mirrors even though he had his lights on and beebing at her. When she tried to deny it the Maccas staff said they had it all on tape.
Sad thing is he had his car resprayed 2 days before.
Thats a shame mate,so many LAZY drivers out there.
Hmm .. just wondering - is this a sign that you shouldn't hesitate to get the safety recall done on the car on the remote possibility of an accident? Murphy's law strikes again!

I was exiting a car park and a guy in a large Ford Transit, parked illegally blocking the next door driveway, backed into my passenger side front creasing the door just below the contour as I was waiting to exit the car park. It pushed the door out of whack as well. He tried to say the damage was already there but gave me his details. My insurer said he was wrong, didn't charge me anything and I got a perfect job. Mind you I got a full passenger side respray because of the pearlescent Electro paint. They also did a once over buff on the full body and the overall finish was excellent so you can't see any difference between clear coats. I hope you get the same results.
Mind you, I had a similar bit of work done on the driver's side on my '02 Verada (blue as well) and the clear coat showed up purple in certain sunlight and was a dead giveaway. No such trouble this time though.

It must be that time of year because i washed my car and went to the local shops wehn i looked a day later looks like a ute or van has backed into my car and driven off no note any one surprised???? Bastard did some hefty damage and even poped the bumper out on the passenger side rear.
However my faith in carparks returned today when a young woman was trying to get her baby out of her car and knocked the door into mine ( I didnt notice) came over and apologised saying she had left a mark! It will polish out the other one wont!
Maybe time to get that second muffler recess after all!

i don't know how old this person was but i belive older people should have to re-sit a driving test every 3 years (after 65)
also if someone is responsible for an accident they should have to pass a re-test
