View Full Version : Removing dash and centre console

Hey im putting some switches in my dash so i can hook up some neons i plan to put them in the consol between the drivers and passeger seat, actually in that storage area at the end of the centre consol on the vertical face closest to the front dash, anyone out there know how to remove the consol n dash without damage???

Hey dude - come to the cruise on the weekend (check out the SA events section) and I'll show you how to do it. Will take a whole 5 minutes =].

hey what day is the cruise, i probly wont b able to ive got my 18th saturday night n then recoverin the next day in time to go see a mates band play!

hey mate
move both front seats forward and then there are 2 screws that need to come out which well b accessable wen u move the seats forward
then take out the like 'container' (not sure wot ud call it) there are 2 screws underneath that. try and leave them lying in there coz its a bitch to get them back in wen putting it back.
the hole piece should just lift out by lifting the back end up and then out towards the back of the car. wen u pull it out ull have to look underneath the panel and desconnect the plug that is connected to the little light there.
the next panel which is surrounding ur head unit is just the 2 little screws wich are revealed with the centre consol out pull it out and then menouvre it til u get the top out. its held in by some clips. ull have to disconnect all the cig lighter and the side mirror adjuster if u have it plus anything else is connected up
