Quick question

with the tyres... say.. 205/60R15, the 60 is expressed as a percentage of the width of rubber used. So with this assumption you can say 195/60R15 will have a smaller diameter than 205/60R15

Now im looking at getting Toyo Teo's, and it says that the 205's have 10 more revolutions per kilometer than the 195's. Now will this really matter in terms of the speedo? I have 205's on it now, but the tread is worn down and the speedos bang on.

You think that 10 revolutions per kilometer isnt much when we are talking 526 RPK, BUT the difference between the 205/60 and 205/65 is just 20 RPK.

To clarify:
205/60 91H.........526 RPK
195/60 88H.........536 RPK (the size its supposed to be)
195/65 91H.........518 RPK

Any comments? should i go for the 205s or 195s?

Thanks
Meph

Yeh i've wondered this, like with getting bigger mags and new rubber how can you keen the speedo on target and is it easy.

go with the 205/60/15, a bit better grip and handling. these differences in diameter are very minor. only when you increase overall diameter by over 15 mm do u need to worry about it being illegal and doing 10 kmh faster than the speedo.

so it says 2% difference, does that mean when my speedo says 100 ill be doing 102? i mean i can live with that, i usually do what my speedo says is 99 anyways
