Ralliart and VRX aren't similar beyond fitting in the same space.

Last time I checked the Sports and VRX looked like the photo Ryan has provided, the Exec/Advance style grille would be closest to the rada one.

Edit: I take that back, looks to me like all TJ's had the same grille bar the Ralliart.

No they didnt, my VRX grille is identical to the exec one. Plus the ralliart grille from what i understand costs 400+ plus from Mitsubishi, which makes the Verada one look almost cheap, almost.....

EDIT: Luge beat me to it

Verada Grille; Verticle slats horizontally offset

Ralliart: Epty, much like letterbox type grilles with plastic mesh deep inset.

All others; Black insert with cross-hatching inside. Some model come with Colour coding. (VRX/SPORTS/ADVANCE + more)

EDIT: Lugo beat ME to it also. lol

Thought so!
I saw a grille on a TJ solara which looked standard but had chrome strips on it like it was a cheap upgrade version of the verada one.
Its a shame because i think a non chrome version of the verada grille would look good and would leave plenty of room for the imagination to trick them out.

Well, as an experiment, you could sell your house to buy a Verada Grille, then paint it body colour etc -LOL.

I've been lucky to buy a NOS Verada KJ Xi grille (full chrome - ie: chrome diagonal slats and chrome surround underneath), which may go onto my Sports if I ever get some front damage and faded paint fixed-up.

My KJ has the Ei grille - chrome slats and body-colour surround. After being pressure washed, some of the "black-out" paint has flaked off, revealing even more chrome (between slats etc)...... so now I am wondering what it'd look like getting all the matt-black masking paint off it - doing a full-on chrome-fest.

Might look a bit too much but you can only see.
The factory plastic chrome can be painted over but it requires to be sanded properly then plastic primed and then the application process can begin.
I'm tryin to make up my mind whether to paint my verada grille or buy a ralliart grille!(I know they arent cheap but cant find them anywhere esle!)
Come on ih8hsv,dont be tight and get one! Hahahaha!

I discovered that my grill actually has shinny chrome underneath the black matt paint. You can see at certain places where the paint has been stone chipped off. Makes me want to remove all the paint to have it look like ones for the Xi.
