Was playing with my dome light bulb last night while heavily intoxicated and trying to jam it back in it was sparking very heavily before I finally got it in (yes for some reason I had the engine running). When I went for a drive just now the light is not working and my speed alarm is stuck on 60km and when I change it to 120 it just resets after a few seconds back to 60 and sometimes just randomly flashes and the alarm it'self is very low and weak when I exceed 60. Also it feels like the ECU reset because the auto gear changes are jumpy and really rough too.
Anyone know what's going on with it? I checked all the fuses and they are all fine so I'm kinda lost as to what to look for next.

Why didn't I have the fun of heavy intoxication when I did a similar thing recently - wiring up rear courtesy lamps added to c-pillars of TJ. I previously had fiddled with the central dome light - feeding wires to some LEDS I added into footwells... these let one end of the bulb-carrier short onto the roof panel.
Make sure your connections in dome-light aren't shorting anywhere before you proceed.... in my case the contact on passenger side of lamp was sliding upwards out of the plastic it was supposed to be clipped into.
Anyhow, if you checked the fuses in drivers footwell, all will be OK.
Check the fusebox/relay-box under the bonnet...... there is a couple of fuses which are surrounded by a plastic shroud - think its bright yellow. These fuses have protective tabs preventing the fuse from being removed without some coordinated effort - be sober for this phase of proceedings, maybe use needle-nose pliers to spread the tabs while using the fuse-grabber (from cover of footwell fuses) to pull the fuse. I think its a 15amp one..... CBF going to car to check or get the book.
I think you'll find that 15amp fuse is cactus, and once replaced you will have a trip 'pooter back. At least I hope you do - good luck!!

Hooray! You were spot on about that fuse. Went out and replaced it this morning and everything is back to normal. Thanks heaps for that.

For those who need to now the easy way, the yellow section pops up and then the fuses are easy to remove
