Done a search and couldn't find what I was looking for, basically want to know what others do to clean the inside of their screens, especially down the bottom where it's hard to reach. I use maguires glass cleaner, and it does a ok job for the most part, but after a few days I get "vinyl sweat" from the dash on the screen, particulary lately with the hot weather here. I make sure I clean the glass after cleaning the dash, and it's annoying, especially when the sun hits me head on. never really happened to my other cars though.

Windex and a microfibre cloth. Failing that plain water and a cloth, and dry with newspaper.

Trust me. It works.

Is your car tinted? 'Cos from what I was told the ammonia in windex destroys any sort of tint.

I've just bought Maguire's but I haven't applied any of it yet. Will let you know if anything goes wrong with mine.

i use the armorall but i have a dash mat on

the problem i have is that after a while the crystal clear look goes away and i start getting faint white marks..might just be me tripping considering i love the smell of it so end up sniffing it a bit

OK, gunna do the old man thing here. I've tried all of the things suggested here and more. What I find works is:
- clean the screen with Auto Glym Glass Polish. Unlike the spray on cleaners - and I've used ALL of em over the years - this one removes everything and leaves no smears at all. At least part of the reason is that it is liquid polish which you apply and then buff off; and
- after years of trying all the vinyl protectors on the market I've settled on Meguiars Interior Quick Detailer. It retains the matt factory finish of the vinyl, removes dirt and deosn't seem to sweat.

Good old elbow grease with a microfibre cloth.

Methylated spirits with a black and white newspaper aswell (go the oldschool methods)

Fair call, I just mentioned it 'cos that's what the installer told me not to use, it wasn't a sales pitch either for something he was peddling either. I just thought I'd stick to what he said 'cos I put enough money into getting the tint done.
