Saw a leather interior on E-Bay a while back - it didn't sell - but the seller offered to throw-in the Console lid and Glovebox lid and trims either side as a sweetener......... listing implied that Glovebox and trims to either side were leather-trimmed.

I thought I'd try the Mitsi Clearance place in Adelaide, to see if he had any leather gloveboxes (he has heaps of std lids apparently)... he offered to have a look, and when I asked a few wks later he said he was told by someone in Mitsi that Magna's never had leather trim there??

Does anyone in any 3rd Gen series of Xi Verada have leather in lower-dash trim panels and glovebox lid?

On the "modding"front - has anyone tried to trim a Lower Console (around gear stick) with an overlay of leather?

I'm trying to raid the Clearance Centre and wrack my brains to "posh" up my KJ Ei and my TJ Sports. Still attracted by those darn pale leather seat-covers on Flea-Bay too.......

KJ Xi.....no leather glovebox.

Personally, I was thinking that a black leather glovebox lid with lots of little silver studs spelling out "Village People" might have given my ride a masculine/aggressive but "subtle" ambience. Or not.

Okies - Caine may have been well-informed, then. I'm just so accustomed to hearing codswallop from the Mitsi Dealers around here that I thought someone may have given Caine the wrong advice.

I'd be interested to get some auto-grade leather and try to wrap the lower-console, though. just don't know how I'd finish or secure it in the oddment and cup-holder openings (I don't have a "lidded" console, just the povvo blackish ones).
