haha nah she wasent stolen that picture of my vn is before i slammed it down again and added other things then i found out i had a daughter on the way so i needed a family car (way too low and extremly loud) so i sold it to a mate who promised me he would care for it like i did. 1 month later he sold the wheels and put huge dings and scrapes n stuff in every single panel on the car , as for the cops iv never ever been asked about my tint on any of my cars. i even parked my vn ata cop shop and nothing was said :cool: :D

i got it done at solar tint in leumeah (next to zone 3 and hungry jacks) cost me $350 only thing is they wont give you a reciept for obvious reasons lol

Hell yeah....You would have a very hard time seeing out your side windows/rear window at night, in saying, all the lights will be heavily dimmed
Tint looks great but personally I wouldn't of gone that dark. I'm on 20% and find it a good balance between light coming in and me seeing out

You'll enjoy a car that actually holds together, trim pieces don't fall down, engines don't blow up and windows don't randomly fall down. Although I bet you miss RWD:badgrin:

lol at night you can see i wont say you can see everything like you would with 35% tinted windows but you can see enough to reverse/park and if you have any major trouble then ya wind your window down (iv never had to yet) and as for missing my vn rwd hell yes i do i use to drift in it :cry: that vn was pretty bloody good nothing fell apart or broke, engine was sound and strong , and a pretty hard to find original 5speed manual box after the lil mods i did to it the thing went hard (skyline turbo's for breakfast). as for the roof man its simple get yourself some 2 or 3mm mdf or what ever you wana use , trace your outline on it (flames,symbols ect ect) then cut it out with a jigsaw, once you have that get some liquid nails and paste your cutout to the roof board. then its just a matter of picking your colour fabric getting some spray or roll on adhesive and cover it if yaz want when and if i do my magna il take some pics and do a write up on it for yaz

Another member who comes to the meet as 2% tint, and yeah, its freeken dark.
Although my interior is completely Black aswell, so everything inside is darker then usuall with the 20%

lol nah man i seriously thought i would get eaten alive by the turbo but i can sit here without braggin and say i romped it (not off the mark i caught him in 2nd gear) that vn is the 4th iv owned and it was perfect for me the worse thing that went wrong was a dead battery. any1 who owns a 1988 model vn will tell ya they have balls it was after 1988 that old ladies complained about wheelspin and stepping out sideway so every model was restricted (rubber plate in throttle body , bent acceleator cable , ecu , chip ) . my model was fully unrestricted with mods done i went good i was getting 160 out of 3rd off the clock in 4th with 5th to go and alittle trivia for yaz, no two model holden will have the same power off production some can vary asmuch as 10kilowatts and me saying i ate the skyline that was one turbo not all im sure theres ones out there that wulda stomped my vn in reverse lol just thought id clear that up

when mine stopped working on my red vn it was because of the speedo wires but most of the time when it stops clickin over its rooted. if your sis has a electric dash that looks like this

mine hada bit more than a chip n exhaust lol but ya maybe i shifter gears better i dunno i didnt exactly leave him standin but race wise i won (had about 1 car on him) and the fact mine was manual made a huge difference

heya just to clear things up my drifting and racing days were done on legal tracks (oran park,wsid ect ect) i dont condone in anyway racing down the m5 at 180 i see all these crashes and deaths that involve children and think that could have been my little girl so rest assured im not here braggin about being a goose on public roads
