So the story goes,that i have sorced a set of 380 calipers and now i need the discs...

..do i get slotted or cross drilled/slotted.....:confused:

..and is there any thing i should or can do to upgrade the rears..

..again do i get slotted or cross drilled / slotted ones....:confused:

Cross drilled are crap, get slotted.

Slotted, and forget the rears unless you can get a good deal on them. Brake bias is generally about 85/15 front/rear percentage.

Apparently the 380's rear hub setup is quite different to the Magna - I remember Madmagna saying that the 380's rear brakes won't bolt onto the Magna.

Yeah i looked into this before i got my alcons, the whole assembly would need to be changed, but the stub is the same though

To all the naysayers about xdrilled, nothing wrong with them so long as you get cast xdrilled ones, not actual drilled units.

Cast, DBA's you dont tend to see them crack anywhere near as much as other xdrilled rotors, so long as you dont use them in motorsport they are fine. People are just passing on the intawebz myths as usual.

Check out DBA's website on it, they discuss how they make those particular rotors and their quality testing.
