Hey guys!
Gonna look into painting various car parts chrome in the new year so seein if anyone is interested in having something done, let me know.It can be trim or small exterior pieces for now, dont wanna jump into wheels or anything big like that for now but will be good to get feedback on so if i run the spray booth,i can hit multiple items at once to save you's all $$$.
I will be buying kits and painting my own items then i will post pics to show you's what i can do before you's jump into it plus will give estimated quotes so you's know what you'll be spending or saving for.
Leave some feedback or even ask me a quick question or PM me if need be.
Thanks Lads!
Oh this one is easy - TL DOOR HANDLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
Also the backing on my KE grille would be nice :)

They did a car in chrome on pimp my ride once. There is also this (not sure if this is the real one, but there is a real one): http://www.bmwquebec.com/pics/chrome/chrome5.jpg
As long as a proper zinc primer is used it works ok, but without the zinc it will never work.

Dont think it will cost that much for me to do a TJ Garnish but i will do more research as the new year comes in when i get a kit.
There are a few types of methods in this procedure but i will be doing the spray on application.

If you have seen 50 Cents from lambo, then thats what it will look like.
Pure mirror chrome!
Can also get shadow chrome and many other combos like heat paint, one colour when cold then changes in heat!

Big difference in dollars there especially when the application is painted not electroplated.
This stuff looks awesome, like chrome it self but is a long process to do.
Will update in the new year with rough prices so people know what they will be looking at plus will be better prices if there are alot of items to be coated at the same time because it isnt cheap to run a spray booth on a saturday for doing private stuff.

Nearing the final stage of this process,i will post pics when done but i'll also look into being a sponsor if the demand is up there for it.
Will do packages for certain items but the first package offered will be the ring surround on the auto gear knobs done in chrome with a jet black push down button.
Keep your eyes out as i will start a new thread when i figure the sponsorship and final product package/s.
Can do other things but remember,if your from another state, would be best to do item's that are postable.
Cheers lads!

I chrome from a coke bottle, remember those 'world cup' gold coke bottles? Chromers around here had a field day when those were released...

Hang tight kids!
Will post up pics and stuff when final product it complete!
The videos were great. Interested in this for my front grill insert.
Loved the copper chrome wheels they had on the BMW. Would love to go copper but not sure it would look right on a white car - would need to be black or a dark green for the contrast.
Regards, Tony
Edit: hang on - the brushed aluminium on the Mustang. Might end up asking for half my interior to be done...

Hey jesse any idea how heatproof this is? Have a set of parras with faded reflectors. If it will stand up to headlight heat am definately interested.

Hey mate!
Sorry for late reply, didnt have internet all weekend :(
2pak is used on engine block's and other engine parts so im saying it will hold up just fine :)
I will be sorting out their clear coat they use for the chrome as they use it on wheels and other hard parts that can cop a bit of wear cause the clear coat used for it is like the ceramic clear(a.k.a! anti scratch clear) which takes a beating cause i have it on my car and even simply things like cat claw scratches buff right out easily and bird poo stains are easier to remove.
Will keep ya's all posted on it very soon as i am getting a professional demonstration on the application of it cause i want it to be 100% as i am pretty fussy with final finish so no dodgy stuff goin on.
Pics should be up within the week but keep ya eyes open gentlemen!

Just an update guys, doing a tip-tronic surround at the moment so should be ready within a week but keep posted!
The surround im doing was factory chrome before but was badly damaged by a buff (which i wasnt in control of :( )
and i stripped and am now basing it ready for the chrome.

I would imagine any chrome jobs are gonna be costly considering the time involved in setting this up
